What is the Woodford County Heritage Committee?

The Woodford County Heritage Committee, founded in 1974, is a non-profit organization that provides supplementary funding and volunteer assistance for the Jack Jouett House Historic Site. Our mission is to help preserve the Jack Jouett House and its collections and to communicate its story. Your donation makes possible the preservation of this important Kentucky historic site and the continuation of its quality educational programming.

A note from the Executive Director:

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting our page. I hope that you’ll consider donating to the Woodford County Heritage Committee (WCHC). This small nonprofit does so much for the Jouett House, everything from volunteering their time to helping us raise money for our new interpretive signs. Their impact on the Jack Jouett House cannot be measured! Even a small donation to the WCHC goes a long way. I hope you’ll consider donating. – Sam Dunn
