Known as “Bette”, Elizabeth was the 4th child and 2nd daughter of Jack Jouett. Reportedly, she was Jack’s favorite daughter and exceptionally close to her brother Matthew, whom she resembled closely. She and her husband William Dabney Haden lived in Bath County, Kentucky and had 4 children. In his later years, Jack Jouett lived with Elizabeth and William lived in Bath County.
